The Sunrise View Tour: 4:30 AM Start
We hit the track at 4:30 AM in our custom 4x4 and head for Million Dollar Point. After a gentle 10-minute walk, you will witness the sun rising to illuminate the entire caldera, Mount Agung, Mount Rinjani (Lombok), Lake Batur, and the Indian Ocean. This is our team's favourite view on any of our Bali tours. We'll drop in on the Kintamani Bats before heading back to the pick-up point around 8:30am AM.
The Sunset View Tour: 4:00 PM Start
We begin the 4x4 journey at 4:00 PM to reach Million Dollar Point in time for the spectacular sunset near or behind Mount Batur. You will capture incredible photos of Mount Abang, Mount Agung, and the distant Indian Ocean.
⚠️ Sunset Tour Seasonality Notice:
For the most reliable enjoyment, we strongly recommend booking the Sunset Tour only during months without an "R" (May, June, July, & August). In the months with an "R" (September–April), clouds and rain often roll in around 4:00 PM, which could compromise the view. While our 4x4 offers superior weather protection, your viewing experience may be diminished. (R = Afternoon Rain)
