The background story is that we had K-pop sensation Super Junior came to Bali and shot a music video for SBS and MTV in Korea . ‘SUJU’ (pronounced "soo-joo" for the uninitiated) as they are known by their fans, chose to do their new music video “Offline” out on the black sands of Mount Batur, Kintamani, Bali on an Expedition Bali Tours 4x4. Following Expedition Bali Tours on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube, you may have seen this after October 29th. (We were requested to keep this particular Bali tour and any social media under wraps until then) When the K-Pop boy band chose to shoot an MTV video in Bali, they chose Expedition Bali Tours to organise everything. We organised 30 support staff ranging from camera crew, makeup, security, and translators, plus the two K-pop artists in Bali, up on Mount Batur's black sands, all from Australia using WhatsApp, and our expert guides on the ground in Bali. This is yet another of our incredible Bali tours, however this particular Bali tour has never been done in Bali before, and we're the only Bali tours company offering this tour. From today, we're offering to take SUJU fans out through the black lava and onto the black sands, to the exact location that Super Junior recorded the music video “Offline”, complete with working commemorative golden microphones you can keep as a memento after the tour. You’ll be able to emulate your K-Pop idols in exactly the same music video location, using exactly the same 4x4 that took your idols to the music video location. You can sit in the exact same seats as your K-pop idols if you like. Rip out your new microphones and sing all the way there if the urge strikes. We have the original guides that took the two artists Donghae (the purple shirt) and Eunhyuk (The floral shirt) to location to shoot the ‘Offline' music video. No other tour company in Bali can do this. No other tour company had the Super Junior artists in their car, on location. "Value for money” seems to be a winner. The amalgamation of four waterfall tours will tick that box We had a potential guest from the Phillipines make a request that looked like a good idea for how to group a set of waterfalls. He asked this: "Can we do three or four waterfalls in one day without getting wet? I have 60 year old parents and they don't want to do many stairs.” So the brief was: 1. Able to get great photos of the waterfalls without getting wet. 2. Minimal stairs. 3. Waterfalls must be grouped close together so they can be done in one day. 4. Because it’s all in “one day” they must have time for lunch in the middle. 5. Has to be a memorable Bali tour. We put the following Bali tour together: Four waterfalls, cheaper than doing one waterfall (Value for Money) ✅ We called this four waterfall amalgamation: 4 “Easy Access” Waterfalls - All Day Adventure Next, in the “something new” category, we’ve added a new Bali tour for 2023. Hello to our EBT Agents, Great to be in contact with you again as we get close to the end of the year. (We know right… only 45 days until we’ll all be at a New Years Eve celebration somewhere on the planet.) Now that we have agents from different parts of the world supplying Expedition Bali Tours, we have to say this email is more for our local Bali Agents. As our local Indonesian agents know, it can get pretty quiet in the build up to Christmas, and then all of a sudden “it’s on” for a week or so over Christmas and New Year, before having nothing to do again in January and February. We get it, you’re busy. Panorama Destination in Jakarta took us up on the offer, and Vifa Travel in Makassar flew out to do a tour and check us out as well. Both took a bit of a hybrid 4x4 Sunrise Sensation / 4x4 Volcano Explorer Private tour, and they loved it. It still personally amazes me when I go for a ride with agents that are doing the tour when they say “woooooowwwwwwww, look at this” like they didn't know this beauty was here, or they’re finally getting to see what we have been banging on about for years. For me its like “Yeah…. I told you this was here, didn’t you believe me.” 🥹 Then I have to remember, describing something is never as good as being there in person. Video and pictures on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, they just don't do the vastness of Kintamani, the Black Sands and so on, any real justice. One day, you'll have to promise yourself to go on one of our Bali tours. Anyway… I digress: Our Bali agents and hotel concierges tell us they're too busy. Okay, we can get that. "If the agents will not come to the mountain, then the mountain must go to the agents." (Well…. The 4x4 at least) 😉 In December 2022, we’re offering to bring our 4x4 (the metaphorical mountain) to our agents and hotels for a “Product Knowledge Day” A few months ago we did one of these “Product Knowledge" training days for Panorama Destination Services here in Bali.
